Mafia is a digital version of the classic social deduction party game. One player acts as the Driver (moderator) and holds the phone, while the other players interact in person. The phone manages role assignments, game phases, timers, and eliminations — replacing the traditional narrator.
You need a minimum of 4 players (plus the Driver) and can play with up to 20. The app suggests a balanced role distribution based on your player count, but the Driver can customize it.
Mafia does not collect personal information through the App itself - there are no accounts, logins, or player name uploads. We collect anonymous usage analytics (like game events and crash reports) to improve the app. Some third-party services (such as advertising providers) may process device-level data like device identifiers and IP addresses. The core game works offline. An internet connection is only needed for purchases, watching ads to unlock premium roles, and sending crash reports.

Yes. Mafia is free to download and play. Four core roles are included for free. You can unlock all premium roles with a one-time purchase, or watch a short ad to try a premium role for one game.
